Taiwan Government Aviation Purchases JeppView

 

A Taiwan government aviation office signs a purchase contract with Hungchi Aerospace to install Jeppesen JeppView Electronic Airway Chart software to replace traditional paper charts for its 8 air bases and one operation center.  Hungchi Aerospace will go to each air base to meet with pilots to demonstrate JeppView in-office flight planning and on-board GPS navigation.  Jeppesen is a Boeing company, and Hungchi Aerospace is the Jeppesen sole authorized dealer in Taiwan.

Taiwan University Purchases AAA

 

A Taiwan university purchases new multi-licenses of Advanced Aircraft Analysis 3.1 and AeroPack 4.0 3D drawing software from Hungchi Aerospace for its aircraft design lab.  The university aerospace engineering students won the first place price in national student UAV design and flight contest. The Aerospace Engineering Department started using AAA in 2001.  AAA and AeroPack software is developed by DARcorporation and distributed by Hungchi Aerospace in Taiwan.

A Taiwan communication research center purchases new multi-licenses of STK add-on module from Hungchi Aerospace.  Hungchi Aerospace supports local STK users to develop customized integration.  STK is developed by Analytical Graphics Inc. A Taiwan satellite communication organization has awarded a contract to Hungchi Aerospace to purchase TICRA software suites。 TICRA Engineering Consultants produces a wide range of reflector antenna design、reflector shaping、phased array design、and feed horn design software including the famous GRASP9、CHAMP、and POS5 for both space and terrestrial applications.  Hungchi Aerospace is TICRA’s exclusive agent in Taiwan.

A Taiwan government aviation office and two Taiwan military aviation offices purchase Jeppesen Airway Manuals、JeppView electronic navigation software、and FliteStar flight planning software from Hungchi Aerospace. Taiwan Civil Aeronautical Administration released Ultra-Light Amateur-Built Flight Testing Guidance and Standard Practice for Quality Assurance in the Manufacture of Ultra-Light Vehicles.  Activities in design、build、test、and flying of sports aircraft in Taiwan is expected to grow soon.  Hungchi Aerospace markets a series of products for this opportunity, including Advanced Aircraft Analysis software, DesignFOIL, Digital Wind Tunnel, Jeppesen pilot and mechanics training materials, PFC and FlightLink desktop flight simulator, FlightViz flight data analysis, etc.

Taiwan Defense Office Purchases Flight Simulator

A Taiwan defense office has awarded a contract to Hungchi Aerospace to purchase several desktop flight simulation systems with hardware and software.  Hungchi Aerospace developed and integrated this flight simulation tool for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing flight mission simulation. The system has the capability and options to be connected to Satellite Tool Kit (STK/AVO) and FlightViz in real-time networked for pilot-in-the-loop training and analysis. The applications of this system include airborne surveillance、air defense deployment simulation、radar detection simulation、airborne communication and jamming analysis、flight safety event analysis、and pilot training for both manned flight and UAV.

Celebrate August 14th ROC Air Force Day, and Salute WWII Allies American 14th Air Force (Flying Tigers)

Republic of China Air Force (Taiwan) will establish the "Flying Tigers Squadron Memorial Hall" dedicated to General Chennault and his squadron (American Volunteer Group) in ROCAF 401st Tactical Fighter Wing's museum in Hualien. The AVG known as the Flying Tigers joined the ROC Air Force in 1941 to fight against the Japanese.

NCTU Thesis Seminar Speech in 4D-Realtime Sim  

Hungchi Aerospace General Manager Mr. Hungchi Liu made a speech to near one hundred graduate students in Department of Communication Engineering, National Chiao Tung University.  The speech topic was: 4D-Realtime simulation integration of moving vehicle in space、air、sea、underwater、land with radar and  communication systems.  Satellite Tool Kit (STK) and FlightViz software were used to demonstrate several applications in defense and aerospace simulation.  NCTU CE is one of the top rank universities in Taiwan information technology and telecommunication.
